Bikini Atoll

If there is a ranking of wreck diving destinations, Bikini Atoll ranks undisputedly first. As one of the most remote places on Earth, during the cold war, Bikini Atoll became a military testing ground for massive nuclear explosions. As a result, some of the largest and best preserved wrecks lay on the seabed in surrounding waters.

The list includes USS Saratoga, 270m long aircraft carrier,  Nagato, 221m long battleship, USS Arkansas, a 171m dreadnought, USS Pilotfish 95m long Balao-class submarine and other mind-blowing dive sites.
